Glam Christmas Style | Jewel Tones, Pearls & Holiday Dressing with Revival

Last year, our staff Christmas photo leaned into sleek, head-to-toe monochrome dressing. This year, we embraced something richer, warmer, and unmistakably festive, Glam Christmas style.

Think jewel tones, quiet luxury, soft shimmer, and intentional details like gold button accents and pearls. When my colleague Kinga described her overall aesthetic as Nutcracker-inspired, it perfectly captured the mood, classic holiday elegance with just enough drama to feel special, not staged.

Each member of the Revival team brought their own interpretation of holiday glamour to the shoot. (From right to left) I leaned into larger-than-life pearls, channeling old-world charm with a modern twist. Christina wore cool shades of blue and teal with a subtle shimmer, evoking a crisp winter evening. Alyssa grounded the look with a timeless red ensemble paired with fringes and pearls, a holiday classic that never dates. Kinga rounded out the story with refined tailoring and thoughtful gold button details, embodying the essence of quiet luxury.

What made this year’s staff Christmas photo so memorable wasn’t just the color palette, it was the feeling behind it. Jewel tones have a way of reflecting the richness of the season: celebratory, intentional, and full of warmth. This shoot became less about matching outfits and more about shared joy, personality, and presence.

At Shoulders of Gold, style is never just about trends. It’s about storytelling, through colour and how what we wear reflects the season we’re in, the people we’re with, and the moments we choose to mark. This year’s Glam Christmas look was exactly that: festive without excess, polished without pretense, and memorable in all the right ways.

Style Notes: Holiday Dressing Inspiration

If you’re looking to recreate a Glam Christmas outfit, consider:

  • Rich jewel tones like emerald, sapphire, ruby, and teal

  • Pearls, classic or oversized, for timeless elegance

  • Subtle shimmer or metallic accents for evening warmth

  • Structured tailoring and gold detailing for a quiet luxury finish

Style tip: Let one element shine and keep the rest refined, holiday glamour is most powerful when it feels effortless.
